The challenge
Travelodge in Edmonton had the usual split: a capital improvement plan on one side and day-to-day maintenance on the other, both wanting the same rooms and the same trades.
Run separately they collide. A room taken for maintenance is a room the improvement plan cannot have, and neither side sees the other’s schedule.
What we did
WeReno ran both from one schedule, so a room came out of service once and went back finished. Preventative work was timed to the improvement sequence rather than to a separate calendar.
Everything was recorded against the property: what was done, by whom, what it cost and what is due next.
The outcome
Travelodge kept more rooms sellable across the programme, and finished it with a maintenance record that carried forward rather than ending with the project.
