The challenge
Dior Showcase (Bay) had to be installed inside a department store that kept trading. Access was overnight, deliveries were restricted, and the finished result had to look like it had always been there.
Retail installation is unforgiving about tolerance. The display is the product, so the quality of the finish is the quality of the campaign.
What we did
Components were fabricated off site and staged so each night’s work was a known quantity, and the scope for every shift ended at a point the floor could open from.
Every variation was agreed in writing before it was built, because a change made at two in the morning is a change nobody can evidence at ten.
The outcome
Dior Showcase (Bay) was installed to schedule and to specification, with no trading time lost and no disagreement at the end about what had been agreed.
