The challenge

A client acquired a partially renovated property left in disarray. As they prepared to sell their current home, they needed the new property move-in ready within three months. The client also sought enhancements in specific areas but was unsure where to start, requiring guidance to complete the project.

Objective

The primary objective was to complete the remaining renovations and ensure the house was move-in ready within the three-month timeline. Any additional enhancements requested by the client also had to be completed within this period, ensuring that no further work would be required after moving in.

To achieve these objectives, a comprehensive strategy was implemented to maintain clarity and efficiency throughout the project:

Design Process

We began by capturing the client’s ideas through a vision board, helping them clarify their preferences and needs. Collaborating with an interior designer, we ensured the client’s vision was seamlessly integrated into major renovations, such as the brand-new kitchen. This approach guaranteed that the final design reflected the client’s goals while remaining practical and on budget.

All communication and project details were centralized on a single platform, allowing for easy tracking of progress, scheduling of work, and documenting project milestones. The dashboard also kept track of the permits required for various stages of the renovation, ensuring that nothing was overlooked and that every step of the process was transparent to the client.

Stepped Execution

We coordinated with the city to identify incomplete renovations and open permits, addressing them promptly. At the same time, we advanced the client’s desired enhancements, ensuring no delays as permits were finalized. City inspector inquiries were handled swiftly, supported by detailed documentation to keep the project efficient and on track.
