1. What these messages are
WeReno, Inc. (“WeReno”, “we”, “us”) runs property improvement work through four AI agents — Handyman, Renobot, Opsonic and WeReno Capital. Those agents work by text message, so when you sign up we may send you SMS or MMS at the mobile number you give us.
The messages are about your own property, project or account. They include things such as:
- a one-time code to sign in to the browser view of your record;
- quotes, prices and approvals that need a yes or a no from you;
- appointment and scheduling confirmations, and reminders before a trade arrives;
- updates on work in progress, and notice when something needs a decision;
- service and account notices, including anything we are required to tell you.
2. Your consent
By giving us your mobile number — on this website, in a sign-up form, or by texting us first — you agree that WeReno may contact you at that number by text message, including messages sent by an automated system. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. You can use WeReno without agreeing to marketing messages; service messages about work you have asked us to do are part of providing the service.
Only give us a number you are allowed to use. If the number stops being yours, tell us so we can stop texting it.
3. How often we text
Message frequency varies. It depends on your property and what is happening on your project: a live renovation may mean several messages a week, and a quiet property may mean none for months.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. WeReno does not charge you for the messages themselves; your mobile carrier may, according to your plan.
5. Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then we will stop. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT or CANCEL, or email us at hello@wereno.com.
Opting out of texts does not cancel your account or any work in progress. If we can no longer reach you by text we will use email or the phone instead, and some things may take longer.
6. Getting help
Reply HELP to any message for help and contact details, or reach us at hello@wereno.com or 1 (800) 2-WERENO.
7. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed — networks, handsets and roaming all affect whether a message arrives.
8. Your information
Your mobile number and the contents of your messages are used to run your work and to provide the service. We do not sell your number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. What we collect and why is set out in full in our Privacy Policy, and the terms of the service are in our Terms and Conditions.
9. Changes
If these terms change we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept it.
