"A border location serves two guest profiles with different expectations and different needs. The renovation had to speak to Canadian and American travelers equally."
Overview
The Fort Erie Hampton Inn serves cross-border travellers and the Niagara region leisure market. The PIP had a hard seasonal deadline — the property needed to be back to full capacity and brand-compliant before the summer cross-border travel peak, with Hilton compliance requiring sign-off before the property could be marketed at premium rates.
The problem
The construction team was running behind the original schedule due to FF&E delivery delays on the guestroom package. The Hilton compliance gate was at risk — if the property was not signed off before the summer peak, the hotel would lose its ability to charge premium rates during its highest-demand period of the year.

"A border location serves two guest profiles with different expectations and different needs. The renovation had to speak to Canadian and American travelers equally."
The Solution
WeReno re-sequenced the inspection and completion program in the twin to run brand compliance reviews on completed floors while FF&E installation continued on others — parallel tracks instead of a single sequential sign-off. Hilton brand compliance conducted remote reviews floor by floor through the twin, compressing the compliance timeline by 9 days.
Hilton Brand Representative
"WeReno understood the unique demands of our border location from the start. The design decisions reflected both guest profiles at every point in the project."
The result
The Hampton Inn Fort Erie achieved full Hilton brand compliance sign-off before the summer peak travel period. The FF&E delay was fully recovered through the parallel inspection sequencing. The property entered its highest-demand season with every room brand-compliant and at full premium pricing.
